SOMEDIS-A adapts the ICD-11 criteria for gaming disorder to social media and measures three things separately: cognitive-behavioral symptoms (loss of control), negative consequences (problems at school, in relationships, or with health), and how often this actually causes difficulty. It isn't raw screen time that decides this -- it's the pattern behind it, and that pattern can change. This workbook has three parts: one for teens themselves, one for parents, and a shared part with an agreement and a four-week check-in.
